As a working photographer and teacher, I have been asked to serve the larger arts and educational communities in a number of
capacities. I've served as a juror and a guest critic for local museums, galleries, and photography groups, and been a guest lecturer
and critic in a number of RISD|CE classes. I've also worked with RISD's Alumni & Career Services to give presentations on photographic
technique at RISD by Design weekend and at grant-writing workshops.
Demystifying your digital camera
is presentation given for RISD by Design about the basics of controlling your
digital camera, and how to get the most out of any equipment.
Photographing your artwork
is presentation that I have given multiple times for artists and designers to learn the basics of digital capture of their
artwork.
Submitting your photographs
is presentation that I gave at the Wickford Art Association's
Photographic Arts Group. It focuses on the jurying process and gives photographers an idea of the elements of their images and
presentation that jurors consider when determining inclusion in shows and selecting winning images.
